Florence's historical center is protected from too much traffic by being delimited as a “limited traffic zone” or ZTL. Only residents and those with access have special passes to enter into and park within the ZTL during the day. Between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm all others without a pass cannot enter the ZTL. After 7:30 pm, however you can enter into the ZTL but parking is still not allowed. Only all day on Sundays is entry and parking allowed into the ZTL regardless of pass.
We offer our guests the use of a private parking garage at the extra cost of 10 euros per day that is near both of our apartments. Use of the garage needs to be reserved, all you need to do is indicate your request to use it on our contact form.
The garage is on Via Guelfa 96/r and very close to our apartment Guelfa but just 10 minutes walking distance from our Pergola apartment.
